Hverdag

This edited collection, drawn from research undertaken by the European Network for Housing Research, is brought together by two well respected experts in the field of urban renewal. Ten chapters, written by contributors from academic and policy making backgrounds, examine experiences with problems of urban decay and housing deterioration across Europe. The book includes case studies of housing renewal problems and policies in England and Wales, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Schwitzerland, Austria and France, together with a overview (which also looks at Germany) drawing out the similarities and diffrences between countries. This edited collection provides an important source of previously unpublished data. It highlights lessons for UK housing renewal policy and will feed into longer-term debates
